Domain Registrar
Slight setback with using Bluehost as my domain registrar instead of Godaddy. I recently updated my contact details on my parked domains. This is apparently seen by the Big Daddy as a “Change of Registered Name Holder. This is an opt-in process during which the new Registered Name Holder agrees not to transfer for 60-days. This domain will be transferrable on 7/29/2009.†This is supposed to be for my protection. I can’t help thinking it’s just there to make Godaddy “stickier†as domain registrar.
I haven’t yet decided whether to appeal, or just put it on hold until the end of July.
FTP Client
I’ve downloaded and installed the latest version of the FileZilla Client for Windows XP. FileZilla appears to have become pretty much the standard.
