Finding a suitable URL for this blog has been an exercise in frustration. My first choice was to have the URL the same as the blog, i.e. http://workbench.blogspot.com/. That was taken. No problem, I thought, I have others. About an hour later, I eventually settled on http://workbench-beta.blogspot.com/. (This has now changed to http://j-workbench.blogspot.com/ to allow me to standardise on a naming convention.)
What drove my blood pressure up is that most of the blogs were set up in about 2001, and have never been updated since then; in many cases the blog was not even set up completely. Not one single post. 2001 must have been a vintage year for blogging…
Google, please can we have a cleanup of blogs not updated within, say, the last two years?
